Delicious food, beautiful decor, but a little pricey. The restaurant itself is very beautiful, I've been to the Staten Island Fushimi, Bay Ridge, and Williamsburg locations and they are all gorgeous and upscale. Not your typical sushi restaurant, this is a perfect place for a special occasion dinner, etc. The food here is delicious, my friend and I ordered the steamed pork gyoza to start, it was very enjoyable and came with about six pieces which was a good size for an appetizer. Next we got fried rice with beef to share, the fried rice was wasn't very flavorful and needed soy sauce. It was $17 for a decent portion, but could only be ordered as a separate side. I had asked our server if I could have chicken teriyaki and substitute the whipped potatoes and vegetables for the fried rice, she asked the kitchen but they said no which was disappointing. I've never been to an Asian cuisine restaurant where they served mashed potatoes with the teriyaki entree. So instead we ordered the side of rice and I got a sushi roll instead of the teriyaki entree. The sushi roll I got was the American Dream roll. I've had this many times before and each time it is more delicious. It is basically a shrimp tempura roll with kani salad on top and mango sauce. It was very fresh and the kani salad was outstanding and creamy. The mango sauce tops it all off, I could eat three of these without batting an eyelash. It is more expensive than a special roll at your standard sushi place, it's about $18 for eight pieces but it's worth it every once in a while. My friend got the duck which I tried and it was very tasty, the sauce added a nice flavor, but the portion was small and it didn't come with a side. Overall, I would recommend this restaurant highly as the food is so good but be prepared to spend!

The valet parking at Fushimi is a great convenience, with fast and efficient service. My group of five originally tried to dine at the Fushimi on Page Ave without a reservation, but were turned away. Luckily, we called the Fushimi on Richmond road and they were able to accommodate us right away. We were greeted upon arrival and seated after a short wait. Ambiance was very chic. Our server was busy but still attentive, setting up our table promptly. The drinks were a highlight, with a delicious Prosecco and Cucumber passion martini earning high marks. The appetizers were a mixed bag, with the Beef negimaki receiving a 9/10 while the tuna tartar fell short at 6/10. The entrees took a bit of time to arrive, but were well worth the wait. The lamb chops were a standout at 10/10, while the chicken fried rice, crispy breaded chicken, and chicken teriyaki all earned high marks as well. Dessert was a sweet ending to the meal, with the warm chocolate cake and vanilla crème Brulé both scoring a 9/10. Overall, it was a great dining experience with friends and I look forward to returning for some sushi in the future.

Finally, I had the chance to try this restaurant. We went for lunch. So it wasn't crowded. We were seated in a nice cozy booth. The staff was very welcoming and friendly. Our server was super friendly and attentive. We ordered a few appetizers to share. All the dishes were amazing. I can't wait to go back and try more dishes. Paradise Roll Gyoza Alaskan King Crab & Cocunut Macadamia Shrimp Edamame (came w three different salts: sea salt, yuzu salt, and truffle salt)

The food is always very good, we have never been disappointed. Very clean environment and absolutely 100% privacy and quiet... The staff is good, only some waitresses should be a little more patient when taking orders and to smile is something beautiful

I had a reservation here for a friends birthday & everything was incredible! We probably stayed for two hours, and their appetizers, entrees, drinks and dessert were amazing! We ordered rock shrimp, uni, tuna box, surf & turf & mojitos. The tuna was SO fresh & delicious!! The service was great too, our waitress checked in on us during & after each course & was very cheerful! Will definitely be returning, happy to say that it exceeded my expectations! :)

Decent sushi place to go to in Staten Island. I usually go to the Brooklyn location by bay ridge but ever since moving here I've been hearing neighbors compliment this place. Came in around 6 for my sisters birthday party. They sat us at the corner of the restaurant which was sadly dark and quiet. Service was still pretty good though. Highly recommend the Long Island ice tea for light drinks, their other drinks are super strong for the occasional drinker. Appetizers were phenomenal. It's the usually firecracker shrimp and calamari but executed perfectly. Came out pipping hot and crispy with decent portion sizes. We all shared our food as we ordered the steak (came with bone marrow and mash potatoes), sushi rolls, sashimi deluxe, and some hand rolls. Food was great, sushi was decent not worth the price point. I think almost 16$ a roll the sushi would be amazingly fresh but it was your corner store sushi restaurant quality. The star of the show was definitely the steak, juicy and fatty and the gravy was amazing. The price was pretty ok with the big chunk of meat they provide. They were so nice to provide a cute celebration for my sisters birthday and came with free dessert.
